Thanks again Bernie!

I have those PGOGY shares with Datek/Ameritrade and I called them up. They seemed helpful, but they couldn't find anything concrete to tell me about PGO and basically acknowledged the potential risks of not being able to buy new shares.
One question remains on which exchange the new shares will be trading and whether they will be tradable on Datek account. I wouldn't think they wouldn’t trade as pink sheets, would they? So I expect to be able to buy them with my Datek account.
Also another point, I wonder what will the US tax treatment of the conversion PGOGY to new shares be? It is being said that current shares will be “cancelled”. If the transfer to new shares were not tax free, I would end up getting a big loss as LTCG and have a zero basis in new shares as STCG, which would put a strong pressure on me to hold for another year.

So, given the uncertainty, I am leaning towards selling PGOGY. Chances still are that we will be able to buy new shares at or below the equivalent of today’s prices of PGOGY.
