This is really news .... what do you think of it all, Sofa .... Gulo, Lino, everybody? ... i'm thinking of joining the PCs so i can vote for it, lol ..... so many times i've been about to join Reform, almost, always was put off because it wasn't quite perfect, well not nearly perfect, it was just the closest thing to adequate actually, but the social conservative and/or religious types seemed to drag it down ..... thing is though, there is another approach, which is to recognise that no party will ever be perfectly oriented to one's personal politics, however you can join them and do what you're able to swing them in your own direction ... there can be considerable democracy within a party, in formation of its policies ..... this was one of the arguments for joining the old PRI, probably for joining the Communists under Stalin as well, lol .... but reality is, there has to be a national alternative to the Liberals, or they will rule forever, and continue down this path of overly-powerful arrogance .... there are so many arguments for and against formal joining ..... which is very much a microcosm of what is going on between the parties, probably, same factors, same feelings .... 'If i/we join these buggers will i/we lose my/our right to independent thought?' ..... well you don't really, and early Reform made a point of stating that you don't
