I've never felt a strong Biblical influence or the need to justify existence or destruction based on fables. I treat the Bible as one of lessons to be learned and avoided, history and stories. One can debunk almost anything and can also support almost anything. It's kind of like the internet. Commentaries upon the Bible are legendary and similar to the "CUT AND PASTE" that I often criticize, a lazy man's way of "proving" his case.

Given that, let's address your post. You take your opinion that the Zionists are aggressors, state it as fact, and then attempt to debunk something that needs no debunking. Does this make sense?

It is equalling compelling that the Zionists consist of victims who banded to gather to find a land from which they could be spared the horrors of history. I don't think that's a controversial statement and, IMO, more easily supportable by history than your statement, with all due respect.

Why should the Arabs have full control over E. Jerusalem? Even given the rocky history of the past 3 years, there has been more religious tolerance and openness to shrines of all religions under Israel than under the previous domination. I don't think that can be seriously refuted.

Irrrespective of my previous paragraph, most Americans and Israelis IMO will accept an international control over the disputed shrines and most of E. Jerusalem. It's a matter of getting the extremists in both governments to finally sit down.

I blame Arafat but others blame Sharon. I've summarized perhaps a 1000 hateful posts by those on all sides and wish others could move on and try to find a solution to this morass.
