Again, how did you do in January, 2000 and March, 2003. I bet all of those people you call "goobers" are seriously outperforming whatever pitiful portfolio you might have.
You are right, it is simple. The "goobers" continue to to outperform an elistist snob like you day in and day out. The "goobers" are too busy working and providing security for their families to get caught up with your paranoid fantasies.
