On Iraq, all this planning should have been done PRIOR to invasion. The invasion was the easy part. Now 200 billion and 650 American lives later we start getting international cooperation, but because the Bushies rushed the war without proper planning, they cost us all dearly. Regardless of the positive spin they're trying to put on Iraq now, there's also a continuing, increasing cycle of violence and terrorism there which isn't likely to stop even if the UN gets involved. This would take 10 years and trillions of dollars. If it had been done right from the beginning, most of that could have been saved.
