<<Give torre credit for yanking Clemens>> that's not all that Torre deserves credit for; he got Heredia and Nelson and even Wells all in there in good match-ups where they could perform. meanwhile Grady is asking Pedro if he can still pitch. you know what, if all they need the manager to do is ask the guy if he can pitch, and fill out the same line-up card every day, i'll happily volunteer for the job and i'll even do it for free. hillarious how the papers talk about how we can't fire Grady 'cause he won 93 games last year and 95 games this year. HE didn't win sh8t. in fact, that last year's team, with 2 20-game winners and 3 of the top 4 ERA guys in the league could only win 93 and miss out on the playoffs is another example of what a farking moron Grady is. this was our best chance ever. great team. Yankees great as well, but definitely not as good as the late-1990s versions. Florida (who the Yankees will SWEEP) in the World Series. a pen that is finally (at least for a couple of weeks) the equal of or even better than NY. but you guys have a manager and we have a baby sitter. and while Mariano is pitching 3 innings, we have Timlin only getting 4 outs and Williamson never getting the ball.
