Tim, Brinker's game with the QQQs was simply a much more public and "IN WRITING" example of his many such fiascos over the years. His penchant for changing his tune based on what happens pervades all of his calls. It was the same in Jan 2000 with the "tactical asset allocation" "I am not bearish" silliness. It was the way he handled TEFQX -buy at 18.00, then "hold" at under 4.00 and "hide" forevermore.

It was the same with UTEK. It was a buy at around 30 bucks on the radio. Soon after it started falling and Brinker under his Don Lane alias began claiming that he was talking about 98 and the fact that the stock was dropping like a stone had nothing to do with Brinker's prediction. He touted this stock as though his life depended on it on the net under Don Lane. Soon he claimed it was a 99 story, and finally he claimed it always was a "99 or 2000" story. It is exactly how he handles all of his calls.

The QQQs were simply a big eye opener "on the record" for those who were not paying attention before or who had no way of knowing what the guy had done in the past.
