You whine like a stuck pig now. Did you scream about the coming danger in 2000 or 1999 or ....? It didn't take Albert Einstein to recognize that as a bubble.

I am always whining about something. But just so you know, I don't think 99/00 was anykind of "coming danger" to be concerned with. It was no different than the california real estate bust of 91, or the first technology bubble I lived through, the PC froth period in 83/85.

You are correct, just a business cycle, and in each business cycle good and bad things happen and in this case dumping engineering I see as a bad thing.

But since we have recharacterized the 99/00 bubble as "just a business cycle", then you certainly can see that Bush has no excuse for gutting the federal treasury as he has.

Oh- and btw, proposition 13 is age discrimination <gg>
