T, LBJ ended up doing everything Goldwater said he would do. But Barry might have handled it better because the Vietnamese knew he had a screw loose. It took them a while to figure that out about LBJ. Great bumper stickers from that election: "AUH2O," "In Your Heart You Know He's Right," "In Your Guts, You know he's nuts."
