GAWD, DID YOU MISS A LOT! That late '90s bit was the only real bubble I have ever seen. They're rare, lizzie. The last one was '29. They drive home lessons that last a generation or two. Ordinarily it wouldn't have a chance. The various CA gov'ts found a loophole that they thought allowed them to pick to public's pocket. The public struck back: Prop 13.
