Richard,

I like your view of the market climate we are in. Some other ideas that I'm trying are simple things like, watch for companies that show good management during bearish declines like those that use the time to expand into new markets at a fraction of the cost. This was a reason I bought INTC and they have been a stellar performer in this CB.

Also, watch how quality companies perform in this CB. Chances are good they will be strong next time around all other things considered and assuming we get more CB's down the road.

Bearish declines are a time when the weak companies get thrown out and the strong get stronger. So forget the weak ones and focus on strength. This is a reason why I really prefer trading in a bear market. Frankly, bear markets are much more fun than bull markets. Now isn't that an odd thing to say?
