Don't give me that "moral" and "succeeding generations" crap. Deficits have happened, been debated, and been gasped about as astronomical and crippling to future generations, since the beginning of government spending.
Or personal, private spending, for that matter.

Just like a family that takes out a mortgage on their home, and wonders how they'll ever make the payments.

Given the speed we've wiped deficits out in the past, when the economy is humming, I'm sure we can do it again.

But more importantly: People fall for this liberal crap about government deficits being the biggest threat to future generations, when in reality -- and of much more profound and direct effect -- it's a family's personal financial picture that they ought to focus on without distraction from demagoguery like yours.
