The average American has 7 credit cards and pays $78.00 a month interest on them. John Q. Public has been compulsively spending on a buy now, pay later basis. That will stop! Middle income bankruptcies are on a steep incline and right now, Uncle Sam is going to support the economy with spending, mostly to large contractors like Halliburton.

Searle, there is a theory that the reason Viet Nam lasted so long is because Big Business was scooping up money for weapons, fighter jets and Bell Huey helicopters. It is said that is the reason Kennedy was assassinated- because he was going to stop the war. I believe it.

The term Demopublicanism is and has been prevalent for many years. It doesn't matter who is in office. They are all the same ilk. I am a patriot and love my country and always like to believe that the force of the "Silent Majority" was enough to right things. That is how we have been raised to our detriment, i'm afraid.

You make many strong arguments against the economic conditions like the 1930's era but prior to that all the bankers and investment pros were saying that a recovery was close at hand. This, I believe, will be the same thing. Everybody will laugh at the sky is falling folks and twisting negative economic reports until the sky does fall in. I hope that people wake up to this fact or they are going to live a miserable life by not preparing for it.
