Seditious? Come on Hawk, get a grip. It's called democracy and freedom.
It's democracy and freedom when policies are being formulated. The time for that was BEFORE the war, not during, or in the aftermath where it's essentially that our national will remain steadfast in the face of cynical European opposition, and continued resistance by die-hard Baathists and Islamic militants.
It's all well and good to criticize post-war policy, but NOT to subvert the reason that we're there, or the national will related to seeing it through.. I see all of these democratic congressional members constanting railing against Bush, how he lied.. etc, etc, etc, and that we shouldn't be in Iraq right now, only to later make a minor mention that we can't just cut and run and that we have to "get out with honor" and that they "support the troops"...
I sometimes wonder what color the sky is in their world...
It's like having the "America First!" movement continuing to denounce Roosevelt as late as 1943 for getting us involved in WWII. Or that he lied about having forewarning about Pearl Harbor.. etc..
The bottom line is that we're at war with Islamic militantcy and terrorist states and it's time to get "on the train", or at least bite your tongue.. The Islamic beehive is being stirred up by the Islamic militants and unless we're willing to do a bit of mixing it up ourselves to capture the initiative in the region, we'll find ourselves in a position where events control our future and not the other way around.
