Well it's nice that you're making apologies for Lycos/Quote.com, but even Ameritrade offers L2 FREE to its Apex customers and their L2 shows ISLD, ARCA, INCA, BTRD, and others in summary or in DETAIL (for some) if you'd like to see all the levels rather than best bid.
I PAY for Quote.com but get L2 FREE on Ameritrade. What I was PAYING for on QCharts was sorely lacking. In addition, the ISLD display on QC is often lagged by MINUTES and totally useless.
BTW, although I no longer have an account at Cybercorp, their L2 was complete as well.
So, I really don't know why you feel the urge to make excuses for Lycos/Quote.com. At a minimum, they should NOT be charging a penny for L2 until the display is COMPLETE. (I would think that this could be actionable under false advertising laws, but I'm not a lawyer.) |
