This was certainly true......Most thought it would be a few months and they would be back to the BIG salaries again, so decided to stay on unemployment. I told them that as I saw it, it was different than the 1980-81, the 1987, the 1990-91, recessions, or economic dips......a good deal different. But then, recruiters ...what do they know? We only are a 6-12 month indicator of the economy......Too bad the government doesn't yet recognize it. Ohhhhh, the stories we could tell....! <g>

Alot of techies sat on their bums waiting for the Dreamtimes to return while they thumbed their noses at anything less than a "real job."
