If you don't use the phone, you don't pay a dime to have the service after getting the chip. Paper cell phone bills don't exist so there are no surprises.

The companies here don't want that! I have almost no phone use here. My present cell is 40.35 a month. I think I can lower it by going to a land line. The only problem is a hookup charge if I change apartments. But if I can get it down to about $20 a month, it will be worth it. TWT.
