FWIW there were some "serious" tax breaks in the Bush energy bill. Not sure what the final version will look like but Palmer (RDC) was pretty fired up about them at his last CC.

Tax credits for dry holes in the gulf? That would be sweet.

Once the bill passes in it's final form we might get some attention.
