The US Government, morally bankrupt and exposed for having lied about WMDs in Iraq, is now playing the "God Gambit" to justify further military action. A war that cannot be justified on facts, logic, or international law, is now being sold with "My god's bigger than your god," and "The lord made me do it!" The problem is that war for a god is UNCONSTITUTIONAL! and in fact, wars fought over religion is precisely what the Founding Fathers hoped to avoid when they wrote the First Amendment. The Founding Fathers knew that when fanatics of one religion get their mitts on the machinery of the civil government, the first thing they do is slaughter the followers of other religions.
