So you are suggesting that the US should permit Israel to defend itself by invading Syria, killing Arafat, and declaring war upon the Saudis who are funding and supporting Hamas? After all, Syria has NEVER engaged in a peace treaty with Israel, so technically a state of war remains between the two countries.
How about their attacking Iran, which has PUBLICLY threatened to turn Israel into a nuclear ash heap as soon as they obtain nuclear weapons?

My understanding is that most of the Jews were pursuaded to move to Israel by both the Muslems and the State of Israel itself,but I have no doubt Muslim nations were particularly interested in seeing them leave.
