Jay there is financial war out there fought with financial instruments difficult to bet who will win but Asia is under attack. Asia's luck - clue less European who do not care being hit as long as the US suffers.

Unfortunate neither politician understand that wars are hurting their economies. Prosperity will come to all is stability will be reinstated in financial markets.

Sharp rise in stock markets is not healthy as is the volatility in FX markets. Those sharp movements only deter productive thinking for the world benefit.

There is no real contribution to the world economy from FNM derivative activity for example = it does not generate any new products that will enhance our lives - if medicine or more abundant food or less disease or suffering. Just think of all that money spend on hedging - how many aids and malaria research projects could be funded or more yielding wheat rice and corn crops? to feed the world hungry

As former Secretary of Treasury said in the past - speculators should be destroyed into financial oblivion and he is right.
