Sorry guys. We all put our spin on what is.

But let's face it, if AMD provides the consumer with equal or better processing power for 32-bit software at an equal or better price, then many consumers will buy AMD...Now if AMD throws in "future-proofing" with 64-bit processing power and a 64-bit software game with blowaway video attributes for free, then any sane consumer will buy AMD64!

INTC's 32-bit only strategy is at a dead end in the face of A64 and, as long as INTC stays with its fast obsoleting 32-bit only course, AMD's A64 shipments are likely to be limited by only AMD's production capacity.

150 to 200 million cpu's will be shipped in the next 12 months, about 15 million or 8% of which will be A64's...

Demand for these 15 million AMD64's, in the absence of any viable and competitive hybrid by INTC, is a lock from my vantage point!
