Repub supporter: Richard Mellon Scaife: Funded the hounding of Bill Clinton for the Republican Party. Hired private investigators that finally uncovered some irregularities in a land deal from 20 years earlier that somehow morphed thanks to a Special Council and a Republican controlled legislature into a scandal concerning the President's sex life. Estimated cost: $160 million. Democrat billionaires want to do good work. Republican billionaires want to grab power, and keep power.
