I had given funds through paypal to an organization formed to get air conditioners for our troops. It seemed to be very successful. Has anyone seen this and what happened after the initial publicity. I'd love to see more of this. I'm growing more and more concerned about claims of red tape and governmental bluster that is hurting our troops. There was an article about injured troops being kept in squalid conditions and then the disaster with vacations. There must be something that we as civilians can do. We need to treat our troops in such a way that they know that they are appreciated and that their work is not questioned.
