Spirit, in fairness to O'Really, his book did make it to #1 last week and Franken's dropped to #2...but as you pointed out Franken's has RETURNED to #1. Telling you, as I said over and over, the Wingers don't like to read and search for the truth, they like to be TOLD.
For example: How many times have you seen them cite here on SI that Clinton gave up the opportunity to have bin Laden turned over by the Sudan government? They love to talk about this and where this LIE came from...but then again they have been told a lie.
From Hannity's book..."It's truly astonishing. Bill Clinton, Al Gore, and their liberal allies on Capital Hill were offered Osama bin Laden by the Sudanese government, and they turned the offer down......... And now more than three thousand innocent Americans have paid with their blood."
Now on the surface this appears to be a pretty damning statement for a man who presents himself as the virtous one.
But what Hannity fails to tell the "flock" that has made him a RICH man, by buying into his "telling" them how to think, is that this hold deal involved a middle man coming forth with this potential deal from the Sudanese government. But guess who this middle man deal maker was? Was he someone from the Sudanese government....please don't guess YES! Was he any government official from any government agency? Again..please don't guess YES! Give up?
He was a Pakistani investment banker with a huge stake in Sudanese oil. Let me repeat...a Pakistani banker and not a government official for any country.
Needless to say, it didn't take long to figure out this guy couldn't delivery pizzas.
But the story get better! Seems that one Mansoor Ijaz, a FORMER Pakistani deal maker is no longer depending on his banking job for income.
Guess who he works for NOW???? I'm going to leave the question un-answered so the Wingers can get in on the answer, because surely they should know...since they get their "all-knowing" information from them.... |
