<<In 1970 when I took the SAT and ACT, we just showed up on that Saturday and took the test. >> I took them back in '65. We took them in the school library and it also happened to be opening day of small game season, rabbits and pheasants opened at noon that day. Shotguns, ammo and hunting coats were stacked in the back of the room, the knives we kept on our belts. At 11:30 it was announced that those going hunting could leave and everyone else had another 1/2 hour. Several of us left plus a couple of the teachers. Imagine that today.
