I respect what you have posted on the "100" issue and I have run out of time trying to follow it's trail. Is there a post that does a synopsis? I understand that there were some apparently abusive people, Techie being one, who were asked to furnish further proof of identity. You state it correctly. That this action, though strange and bothersome (I think SI owes us all a better explanation), is not intended to rid negative AMTX opinion. But is does leave a bad taste in my mouth as many great posters, billc being one, are going to leave this forum because of it. That is wrong. I would like to know what posts precipitated this action. At least then I could decide for myself if the action taken by SI were heavy handed or deserved.
