Maybe the drug companies themselves can explain to us or to Congress, why the price of the same drug purchased here in the States is one price, and a completely different price in Canada or Mexico.

It would also be interesting to ask the administration why it is illegal for a developing country to manufacture AIDS drugs in defiance of patent, while one of the first steps discussed in the anthrax scare was the possibility of manufacturing ciprofloxacin outside the patent.
