Care to expand on that a wee bit ? As I recall, wasn't until the 1960s that equality of vote was acceptable int the US. class/caste/color - all discriminatory practices.

In 1945, the land called India (which included Pakistan and Bangladesh) was a British Colony. And they paid their contributions in WW2.
