It's true that the military industry tends to be hawkish because of the nature of its business. They perhaps had strongly advocated star war system, for example, to make billions. Yet, each war may carry a different nature or a dominant reason. In this particular war, the evidence from military industry group to push the war was thin but the evidences from the other powerful interest group pushing for the war was just overwhelming, IMO.
