Regarding my personal employment prospects:

If I am "laid off from my secure job",
I would go out and find another one.

I work hard to keep my skills up-to-date
and in-demand. That means working late nights
and often on weekends. That means not sitting
at home and wasting time watching trash on
cable TV, etc... like most of your typical
"Democratic" constituents.
