Scott: They don't take restructurings into account but Business Weeks CORPORATE SCOREBOARD in the current 8/25 issue gives these figures:

Novell's 2nd qtr. sales $273.1M, +45% from '96 period, 6 months $648M,
+4% from '96.

Earnings: qtr. $14.6M loss, 6 months $36.2M, +341% from '96 6 months.

Trailing P/E is 16 based on 44 cents for the last year.

Note: They don't give a stock price so the P/E is apparently based on the stock before the latest increase...Earnings for the last 6 months are plus 341% so, WOW, how's that for growth.

(Just don't check anything else.)
