Re: Russian prosecutors had sought Mr. Gusinsky on allegations stemming from an investigation into a $250 million fraud and money-laundering scheme,....

A quarter billion?? Gosh... Gusinsky should apply for "refugee status" in Belgium! Indeed, the Belgian government has just enacted a tax reform bill --dubbed "fiscal amnesty"-- specially tailored for Israeli-Russian mafiosi: funds (allegedly Belgian funds only [chuckle]) that were diverted abroad (Switzerland, Luxembourg and other tax havens) will be allowed to come back in Belgium with minimum penalty for the tax cheater --that is, a max 9% capital tax... All Mr Gusinsky will have to contrive is for some Belgian straw man to set up a front bank account/company and pose as the actual owner/manager of Mr Gusinsky's monies. Now, here's a free tip: Brussels' real estate market is booming due to its sprawling EU bureaucracy, hence Mr Gusinsky's wisest move is to massively invest in Brussels' real estate market....
