Indeed, "gay marriage" teaches that the most basic unit of human society - marriage - does not need a woman to be complete. That's odd. Somehow I thought that we were a nation of individuals, each complete, each with individual rights and privileges. One of those rights is freedom of association. Yes, somehow I thought that each of us gets to choose what and who, if anything, is needed to achieve "completion."
