Mark, I think the author was skeptical of someone's over-the-top
hype advertising, but nothing indicates that he is skeptical of the
procedure itself. He does express irritation at the ad's un-
supported claims, but acknowledges the fairly positive outcomes in the
study. He also points out, as any careful doctor would, that other
treatment modalities shouldn't be thrown to the winds at this point.
The information in the editorial was actually fairly positive.
