Do all the women who in America drive taxis, work in factories, perform janitorial duties, etc, do it for the sheer pleasure of it? Or do they do it because otherwise they could not make the ends meet? And if it is the latter, don't you think life would have been easier for them if their employer was understanding and gave them a break so they can attend their child's school or take the kid to doctor? In the middle east (at least in the parts that women do work) she can do so and will not even have a pay cut for the time away from work. How horribly sexist of them! I am sure your less fortunate sisters would abhor such sexist behavior in their employers. ST
