>>"We still don't how the disease transmitted very quickly from the south to deep northeast (of China)," said Dr. Xiao Donglou, deputy director of the Department of Disease Control in China's Ministry of Health. <<

This transmission was easily traced by super-spreader events from Guangzhou to Metropole Hotel to Prince of Wales Hospital to Flight CA-112 to Hohhot, Inner Mongolia. The above sequence took about 1 month from late Feb to late Mar, 2003 and the identities of the index cases have been repeatedly indicated.

I would think that China's Ministry of Health would be aware of the transmission route, which is well documented in journal, government, and media reports.
