You are a very aggressive poster, with very strong convictions, some of which do not match mine. For you to post a statement like this, about someone of whom you have disagreements, is a credit to you and your character.
In fact, I significantly and deliberately toned down, and changed some of my more extreme views out of respect for you and a few other "conservative" members of SI. You would not have posted a comment like this about me a year or two ago, and you would have been correct!
I have learned a lot communicating on SI, mostly from moderates and conservatives. I have also learned that the only way we are going to get along in this world is through compromise. Sometimes, of course, compromise is not possible.
