Cakewalk...or...Quagmire? Rumsfeld privately held that the war in Iraq would be a cakewalk. That's a far cry from imminent threat. The Administration thought we would be greeted as liberators. While I'm sure that terrorist anger is caused by many actions by the US, Our half baked policy in Iraq is one of them, no doubt. Our flip flopping on the Iraq Iran war. That might be the cause of anger too. Supplying both sides with weapons and intelligence. Gotta love that picture of Rummy shaking hands with Saddam.
