Sorry to dissappoint you, Sergio, but I am going to respond to your most recent post. I will, however, be brief.

Sergio

Proof of what, Sergio? Most of what I have said is speculation based upon available evidence, logic, and analysis. That's what these boards are supposed to be about...a sharing of information on a subject in which all of us have a common interest. This is the first board discussion that I have participated in where some of the most vocal, negative, and, sometimes, insulting posters do not share such a common interest (e.g. don't own or want to own the stock in question).

Sergio

They may not be since they were speculative comments on my part. It would have been nice to have heard your reasons for thinking that my conclusions were not realistic...but, then, I gather that you don't indulge in that kind of substantive dialogue. You're more inclined towards the unsubstantiated and dismissive one-liners .

Sergio

I agree with you but I doubt that you will add anything of interest to such a discussion since that would require some work on your part. If I had only been analysing AIPN on the basis of the "full potential of oil " being found, I would have used a 7+ billion barrel number given that Huddleston discounted its estimate by 85% and did not include the rest of the area which those "dumb" Kazaks say might be as big as Tengiz. So, you see, I have been using a conservative number with respect to the oil potential. Furthermore, the 25% interest that I think AIPN will be left with may end up being slightly high but is nowhere near the best case scenario.

Finally, your assertion that " everyone in the local government is thankful to AIPN" clearly demonstrates that you do not understand this deal at all. If anything, AIPN is being used by the the Kazaks in a strategic move to avoid being "raped" by the likes of an Exxon. The only one who will say thank you is George Faris...which he did a number of times at the NYC meeting.

Cheers...Faris
