It's easy to be pissed at Rush, because he was sitting in a glass house throwing stones at others. Does it matter if you start using OxyContin because you're rich and can extend your doctor's prescription, any more than you're an inner city black youth and somebody handed you a crack pipe for your first time? I'm sure that Rush would have prescribed a lengthy jail sentence for the black youth crack addict who has no treatment option available to him. At the same time Rush goes to a posh treatment center for the cure, he will probably ask for forgiveness. I don't expect he'll do jail time at all. That's the hypocrisy of the situation. I had an accident a few years ago, and I was prescribed pain killers. I understand the addictive nature of them. It takes some self control to say, enough of this and to get back to normality, even if it means enduring some pain. Unfortunately it appears that Rush has no self control, something that he has been preaching over the airwaves is an essential element of good character. Looks like Rush has shot himself in the ass this time. Orca
