I also found this full text article, which contains some math and optics stuff that tend to frighten the average biofreak, but nevertheless contains some useful nuggets: biophysj.org The PWRS does appear to do useful stuff that other instruments cannot. I wonder if tommysdad is still around, or if Doc Voodoo can be pried away from the Insults thread for a comment . . . Cheers, Tuck
