Microphonics Inc. Announces Resignation of James E. Gayle
NASHVILLE, Tenn.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Aug. 5, 2003--Nashville, Tenn.
based Microphonics, Inc. (Pink Sheets:MRPS) announces the
resignation of James E. Gayle as a Director with the Board of
Directors of the company. Mr. Gayle resigned from Microphonics,
Inc., effective immediately, and will pursue other personal business
interests.
On June 2, 2003, Mr. Gayle was replaced as the CEO, President and
Chairman of the Board of Directors when the members of the Board
elected a new Chairman and CEO of the company. R. Dean Vanderpool
was elected as Chairman of the Board of Directors and Robert J.
Lowers was elected as the CEO of the company. As required under the
articles of the By-Laws of the company, Mr. Lowers will act as the
interim President of Microphonics, Inc. until the Board has
completed the search for a new President.
