Hi bob, I am glad you are still around. I missed that ride from.88-$5.
too bad.
I woul like to take lets say $2500 from my portfolio and invest it in warrants in various companies. this is something i have looked into but cannot receive very good sources of information on.
I spent many hours last night sifting thru Barron's for wt info-
I have compiled a list which I will post{almost in alphabetical order.
From there I will find the best choices and a few real long shots.
i think that wts may be a sound place to park some profits and make money while saving on taxes.Buying a warrant for a buck allows you two years for the company to grow- worse or better- it allows us to play like call options, long term and cheap. I think that warrants may be issued when pepsi spins off the KFC,etc off pepsi-there will new stock and possiblynew warrants. that will be a good initial investment as many folks will dump the stock and the warrants.
i will post the long list when I am done with it. If you have any source material or links I would appreciate it.
Once I find a wt the price and history is avail but the terms {while may be boilerplate} are unknown- so this mayy require some edgar searching.
