Linux is fine but not for 95% of desktop people right now so for Athlon64 and FX it's a non factor. Success of 64 bit computing on the desktop really depends on a Windows OS and a bunch of apps. All we have is a beta. I'm scared Intel will snake in on this as usual. Jim
