And you point it what? Is it that Osama is mad at us for our actions, and will strike because of this anger? I tell you if he is behind 9/11/01, and has said from that moment and in fact long before('tis true, without argument), that he would not rest in attacking us, then our actions have created no difference in his desires, only in his capability to carry them out. He continues, as he has for years, to put Iraq on his topline talking points list. I'll bet he's real sad that elements in Iraq which he's been fighting for so long are a bit under the weather these days.
Your discussion above shows how little you understand what's going on in the Middle East. First of all, why would OBL put Iraq on his topline talking points? OBL is a product of Whahhabism, a strict and purintanical form of Sunni Islam. Saddam was a 'liberal' Sunni who was secular. A Whahhabi Sunni like OBL would hate a man like Saddam almost as much as he would hate an American.
What foolishness you prattle on about. Our pre-emptive strike on Iraq has made all the difference in the world. Muslims who were neutral or marginally against us are not firmly in the anti American camp. I am sure we have improved OBL's recruiting efforts a hundred fold.
After 9/11, we had most of the world's sympathy. However, our response to that attack has turned that sympathy into antipathy. And we have accomplished little towards improving our security. OBL still runs free and even Saddam is uncapturable.........and al Qaeda gains in strength.
