HELL no. It isn't ANYTHING like what you said. You said, "the courts do not make new law". Let's not change the subject to avoid admitting you're wrong, okay?

They don't make new law. Its existing law that they modify and amend. Again, the 5th amendment existed; the SC however extended its reach to include the Miranda Act.

BTW congrats on finally doing some homework. It was impressive! <g>
