I have been a Fresh Juice share holder since the company went public. The Hansen acquisition is of paramount importance since it gives the company access to Hansen's distribution channels. One of the most important aspects of sell in the consumer market is the availablity of distribution. When Steve Smith started Fresh Juice he set a policy which said hwe would not pay for shelf space in retail outlets. This required him to develope an alternative to the most frequently employed strategy by companies offering new products.
He started out this business by selling to the high end NYC night club market and word of mouth about his fabulous product has been spreading from this small base. I have introducted the product to a multitude of my personal friends and I've yet to find one who has told me they didn't like it. At worst some of my friends in the mid west can't find the product in any retail outlet. Steve Smith, given a bit more time will plug this gap.

Slow but sure without paying for space on an outelet storeews shelves,to me is a very astute strategy. It prevewnts uncontrolled axplosive growth and presertves profit margins.
