If there is a perceived currency/inflation risk, short-term rates will reflect it. JMHO This is our biggest and possibly only disagreement. But it is a huge one. Short term rates are NOT governed by market forces but by the FED. If the short term rate was governed by market forces it would not be anywhere near what it is now. IMO M
