Tue Oct 21 at 12:36:39 2003 I sold the last of my
microcap biotechs!

107092 CPHAF @ 0.1550 Executed--out for about
what I bought it for in my wife's account a year
or two ago. Now, the morphine analog may very
well work out. But I would not bet on it (I'm
not sure I have the stomach to bet on stocks
anymore--those last few years were really hairy).

Anyway, selling them off one by one over the past year
rather than panicking when the market was bottoming
out probably saved me at least 50k, and probably
closer to 80k if I add it all up. My wife's account
bottomed out around 25k, or a little less, and has
since gone to over 60k. That is not too bad--although
down 50% from the spring 2000 high. But up about 10x
what we put in to start it (a few years of 2k IRA
contributions).

The microcap madness portfolio is closed!
Total profit, 800k.
I'll leave this game to the experts, and besides,
I have a couple kids to soak up my time <g>

Good luck all! If I can get this Earthlink website
to work, I'll post a picture of me and the baby
with a bottle of champagne...and one of milk.
